“This home was more fabulous than the incredible pictures on VRBO. I have stayed in a ton of places along the coast and this was by far our favorite. The set-up was perfect for our family and friends. There are so many areas to lounge in this home, that it feels peaceful in every room. Except maybe in the game room w the teens! Lol! My 17 year old found this place on Vrbo and begged us for a little get together to celebrate her birthday. This will be a birthday weekend to remember. We love your place so much we want to book it for a week in the summer. Thank you for opening your incredible home to us.”

“My husband and I stayed here with friends for an extended weekend in January. The house is set up well for entertaining. I was able to cook several large meals for our party with no problem. The game room was great to have since we had plenty of rainy weather. The hot tub was a wonderful treat after a tough day walking the beach:) The house has flat screen T.V’s in every room, a new washer and 2 new dryers! If you are looking for a relaxing, casual home in an excellent location, this is the one.”

“This house was perfect for our tiny October wedding. We rented it for three nights, and arrived the day before our wedding to prepare. The space was very clean and well stocked. There was plenty of space for everyone and lots of fun stuff to use in the house: kayaks, a pool table, a foosball table, a hot tub, and lots of televisions. Our guests loved the house and my husband and I were planning our next stay before we even left.

Stan was extremely accommodating and responsive - very easy to work with. I’d recommend this house to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing place to stay in Stinson Beach!”

“Wow! This place is true to all the other stellar reviews — it is so well-equipped that you could show up with your toothbrush and be happy all weekend. The whole home is well-conceived and very welcoming, in a spectacular location. The kitchen is large and very well-stocked, with equipment to cook whatever you like and plenty of chairs and place-settings to easily host all 8 guests (plus some extras for dinner). The beds are comfortable (including the Murphy bed in the garage) and bathrooms very nice. But the BEST part is the fantastic, spacious deck on the serene, gorgeous, family-friendly lagoon. The owners provide kayaks, paddle boards, a sailboat and even a rowing scull — all right there and easy to launch. There is a large hot-tub, with a hot-water shower, looking right out on the lagoon. Day or night, it’s a fabulous, peaceful view. All this plus ping-pong and a pool table and a basketball hoop! Our two 11-year old boys want to move there permanently. And our dog was welcomed too, which made the weekend even sweeter. After this stay, I will ALWAYS stay in this house on the Lagoon side. It’s super-easy to access the beach from this place, while the homes on the beach don’t have access to the Lagoon! If you’re seeking the perfect Stinson getaway, look no further. This place is it.”

“Great property for a family vacation. Plenty of space to be together or apart all oriented towards the water and the hills. Kitchen accommodates several chefs, with comfortable space for the rest of the family to relax nearby. Lots of activity possibilities from basketball or tennis to kayaking or just relaxing in the hot tub and watching the birds or taking a long walk on the beach. Bring food, park your car and enjoy your stay without the car until it’s time to leave.
The house is very clean and updated yet not at all fussy. Stan is a flexible and accommodating host. This was our second stay and we will be back!”

“Rented for family of 8 plus one dog. Stan called shortly after we arrived to make sure we did not have any problems. The house sits on a lagoon that is approx. 8 ft. deep. All of the water toys you can think of! The game room was great for all ages. Our family had a wonderful time. We are hoping to return again soon as we would love to stay in different seasons, not just summer. If you are looking for a home in a quiet area where your family can have a wonderful time - this is it!”

“We loved our week at this fantastic vacation home. It’s a beautiful place in an amazing setting with everything to make for an easy and fun trip. The garage set up was perfect for us— we had many teen boys who went full tilt with every possible activity available in there and on the water. We all loved kayaking and SUPing into the evening hours, then snuggling up in the fur throws and playing board games and watching the world cup on the big living room tv. The owner is wonderful to work with and makes everything clear, easy and super pleasant. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole situation.”

“We rented this house for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Stan was awesome to work with and the house was amazing. This is one of the few properties in Seadrift that allows pets and parties. We had our family plus 5 other families for one afternoon and fun was had by all! Foosball, pool, ping-pong, kayaks and SUP’s were all used and in great working condition. Miniature golf and bocce ball court was great, too. The kitchen has every gadget, dish and even pantry items you can think of. The house was clean and comfortable, the sun room was always warm and inviting. We did not use the Murphy bed in the garage, but it was certainly usable. Will definitely stay again and all of our friends asked for the VRBO number as well!”

“Not sure what to say about this wonderful little haven... We had the most wonderful time just relaxing, kayaking, walking and enjoying ourselves..... One of the nicest places we have stayed and we’re coming back....Next time I’m paddling boarding.... The lagoon is a wonderful place to just float and relax...For those who like to cook the kitchen was very inviting to prepare your meals in. And if all else false you can walk into town and enjoy their little village..... Very peaceful in this crazy world...”

“We rented this home, because of its location and amenities and we were not disappointed. The owner prepared us well with clear instructions on how to navigate the automatic gate and access the house; we got great restaurant advice as well.
We arrived to find the home spotless with a well-equipped and spacious kitchen, a dining area with a great view and easy access to the deck with hot tub and dock where we had our choice of waterspout equipment - kayaks, a single shell, sailboat and paddle board.
Our beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had its own large bathroom. Games, puzzles and books lined the living room shelves and a short walk brought us to beautiful Stinson beach. The area restaurants boasted well-prepared, delicious organic food. We would definitely recommend this home!”

“We had an absolutely perfect long weekend stay at this lovely lagoon home. We’ve rented many homes at Stinson and this one is definitely at the top of our list — we will return again for sure! It is spacious and light, clean, very comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and tons of toys and fun for the whole family: foosball, pool table, ping pong, bikes, kayaks, stand up paddle board and a hot tub. Everything you could ask for and more! Absolutely loved our morning kayaks on the lagoon, long days of fun in the water and evenings on the deck in the hot tub. The game room was a dream for true for the kids. Thanks again for an absolutely perfect stay!”

Having spent some time around Stinson Beach before I also really loved having the lagoon, it is definitively a bonus while staying in the area. The energy of the house was simply amazing!”

“My second time here, and we enjoyed it very much. The updated beds are comfortable, the living space is cozy and spacious, the kitchen is large and well equipped. The kids especially enjoyed the playroom with pool table, fussball and big tv. I love having the cruiser bikes there, thank you for adding more. And on a clear morning, paddling down the lagoon is peaceful and fun. With a short walk to the beach, it’s a perfect place to stay in Stinson. We’ll surely be back.”

“This is a belated review and I’m compelled to do so because I rented this place last year for the 4th of July weekend only to find that it is taken this year! That’s right, I wanted to go back. Honestly, the best holiday weekend at this light filled house that is cozy and fun. We had the best time hanging out in the hot tub, taking the kayaks out on the lagoon, playing pool and making dinners in the big kitchen. Our host was also incredibly nice and allowed us our little black dog to come along for the festivities. I’m hoping to get my paws on this place next year!”
